Killer Garage Sale Tip – Pricing

Just think about it. If you have 500 little pieces of nicknack-
paddy-wack priced, on average, at 50¢ each
and sold them all, you’d make $250! However, if you
let your customers haggle you down to half on each
one, you’d still make $125. And the reality of it is that
probably in both instances you’d make $125, the only
difference being in the first instance you’d have the
money and half of your stuff still setting on the table at
closing time. Which would you rather? As I said, it’s
your call.
It is important to have as few regrets as possible when
your sale is over. Know in your mind on which items
you are willing to come down, and on which items
you will take no less than the marked price.
